Ruth Rosekrans Hoffman (1926-2007)
In order to add more colour to Alicen White's story, I chose the illustrator of her only children's book "Walter in Love" (1973) as my next focus.
Ruth Rosekrans Hoffman (aka Rosekrans Hoffman) had the most information out there, which made a nice change. She was hugely celebrated in Nebraska, her home state, and had many, many articles in the local paper as well as articles on several websites.

Probably the most interesting aspect about this process was my decision to try and run a small trial Wikipedia 'edit-a-thon' with some oler Guides from the Company I help to run. To see if they might enjoy it even 10% as much as I do.
In order to get an idea of how they run, I searched for an upcoming virtual edit-a-thon, and discovered that Ruth's alma mater, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, is running one in two days time!
I'm signed up and will try to stay awake for a midnight start. Will no doubt write about it afterwards.
