Elsa Riepert (1890-1961)
Elsa Riepert belongs to a tiny group of women who were awarded both the Silver Fish Award (Girl Guiding's highest adult honour) and the Thanks Badge (Girl Scouts of USA equivalent).

Probably the best aspect of researching Elsa's life was starting to see names and places pop up again from previous biographies - two in particular overlapped with my earliest biographies: Camp Edith Macy (where Janet E Tobitt worked) and more weirdly coincidentally, Asbury Park (where Alicen White lived).
I also enjoyed learning about Cenotaph flags and their life beyond London. This was a good article to learn about it.
